The completely newly developed JetStream fans

The new JetStream fan sets new standards in the Alpenföhn portfolio! An airflow-optimised impeller, a further developed frame and a Next-Gen bearing ensure outstanding running smoothness with maximum performance. The JetStream's anti-vibration pads also minimise any vibrations.

High-end heatpipes & copper base plate

The 6 high-end heatpipes have a very large connection to the nickel-plated copper base plate and can therefore optimally absorb the waste heat from the CPU. As a result, the heatpipes transport the waste heat from the processor quickly and efficiently to the large heat sink.

Matt black surface coating

The entire heat sink of the Brocken 4 has a stylish matt black coating. Black is beautiful - we think so too!

Asymmetrical heat sink

The asymmetrical design of the Brocken 4 allows maximum flexibility in the selection of RAM modules. No matter how high the heatspreader of the module may be - it fits easily!
100% RAM compatibility on 1700, 1200, 115X, AM5 and AM4 sockets.

Rock Mount 3 mounting system

The RockMount3 mounting system included in the scope of delivery offers a secure hold on the sockets:

Expandable fan configuration

For even more performance, four fan brackets and corresponding decoupling elements are included in the scope of delivery. This allows you to easily mount an additional 120 mm fan on the back of the heat sink and thus increase the cooling performance even further.

With the Brocken 4, Alpenföhn has put together a CPU cooler with an excellent overall package. The cooler is large, but maintains compatibility in every dimension as far as possible. It is only 155 mm high and therefore fits into many cases. It is also not too wide and leaves the RAM slots free despite its depth. Assembly is also up to date and can be completed quickly thanks to the screwdriver supplied. The new JetStream fan supplied has a high bandwidth and can be powerful but also very quiet and can be throttled down to low rpm. Details such as the permanently integrated decouplers round off the impression. The package also looks good. Black always fits somehow, especially with the stylish cover plate and the hidden heatpipes, the cooler looks very good."

It has a very stylish design, an extremely high-quality finish and numerous small details that sometimes make the difference in this segment. It offers a high level of compatibility, simple installation that is completed within minutes and generally offers a very well-rounded overall package. At a reduced fan speed, it is also virtually silent and can no longer be heard from the system. In our scenario, this was the case at around 1000 to 1200 revolutions. "This is a direct hit for Alpenföhn, because the Brocken 4 is an excellent air cooler that offers sufficient cooling reserves even with slight overclocking. (If you want more OC'ing, wait for the MAX test). It is also very quiet, giving Noctua and be quiet! a run for their money! All in all, it offers a lot of advantages, such as excellent build quality, easy installation, a great package (an extremely handy screwdriver) and no interference on modern motherboards.
